Was it for your gain, or my pain,
that I laid myself on your hand,
It was for the shine and the rain,
then washed me ashore like sand.

You broke the chain just to slain,
lips on me, skin would deep stain,
left my lane, my rail and my train,
fertile soil, you, the spoiled grain!
